     All things are atoms in a cosmic flux.

Though almost insignificant alone,

By their collective influence they form

The sum of universal interchange

In a closed physical environment.

     It is their interactions, each with each,

That generate the elemental force

Which motivates, towards ordered control,

Primæval chaos that forever seeks

Disintegration of existing states.

     Though these small atoms cannot understand

Their places in the whole, each contributes

Its part in those unknown developments

     Which drive the evolutionary destiny

     Of all that was, is now and still has yet to be.
